The Heron Cove Farmhouse

This 2100 square foot, 3 bed, 2.5 Bath modern farmhouse made for an interesting project! Due to flood regulations and challenging soil conditions, we built the house on a ‘floating slab’ foundation system, which is more akin to the reinforced-concrete systems usually found in commercial projects. This, along with a few other building-science-related choices made for a robust, efficient, comfortable home. The finishes are modern-farmhouse style, featuring shiplap accents, custom shelving and storage, antique doors, 10-foot ceilings, and more. We completed construction on this one in 8 months.
